What You'll Do

  • Own the day-to-day accounting operations-general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements that tell the real story.
  • Manage grant accounting and ensure compliance with all regulations.
  • Partner with program teams to monitor budgets and prepare reports for funders.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and safeguard organizational assets.
  • Lead the annual audit process and collaborate with external auditors.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
  • Expertise in grant management and fund accounting.
  • Strong proficiency in SAGE Intacct (a must-have!).
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA is a big plus.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and an excellent communicator.
